    About The Conclave

The National Conclave on Research and Deep Technologies for Sustainable Bharat 2047, organised by Research Heights Foundation (RHF) on the occasion of National Science Day 2026 (28 February), is a mission-driven, outcome-oriented national platform focused on strengthening India’s research, innovation, and deep-technology ecosystem. Aligned with NEP 2020, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Atmanirbhar Bharat, and the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, the Conclave brings together Academia, Government, Funding Agencies, Industry, and startups to enable collaboration, funding readiness, indigenisation, and translation of research into strategic, scalable, and sustainable national impact. The Conclave is designed to move beyond dialogue—facilitating research-to-industry pathways, consortium building, pilot initiatives, and policy-relevant insights across priority deep-technology domains critical to India’s self-reliant capabilities, economic resilience, national security, and societal development.

    Why This Conclave

India stands at a decisive inflection point in its research and innovation journey. With a rapidly expanding higher education ecosystem, strong policy momentum under NEP 2020, and a national thrust on Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat @2047, the country has a unique opportunity to emerge as a global leader in research and deep technologies.

Yet, this potential remains partially unrealised due to persistent gaps in research enablement, translation, and collaboration—especially across strategic and frontier technology domains.

    Key Challenges the Conclave Addresses

    • Limited access to competitive research funding and structured grant pathways
    • Weak translation of academic research into deployable, scalable deep-technology solutions
    • Gaps in Industry–Academia–Government collaboration
    • Insufficient alignment with national missions and priority sectors
    • Fragmented research governance and institutional capacity
    • Limited focus on SDG-aligned, outcome-oriented impact
Research → Deep Technologies → National Impact
