Session Highlights

Research Heights Foundation (RHF) delivered a focused Research Talk on "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Implementation in Higher Education Institutions" at G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science (GNITS), Hyderabad, engaging faculty and academic leadership in a strategic dialogue on institutional transformation. The session emphasized a clear shift in higher education: SDGs are no longer aspirational-they are operational levers for research excellence, funding, accreditation performance, and global visibility. The discussion highlighted how institutions can systematically integrate SDGs into teaching, research, governance, and institutional strategy, while strengthening outcomes across NAAC, NIRF (including the SDG Category 2025), and THE Impact Rankings.

A key focus of the session was the role of TRIIMPACT Centres of Excellence as institutional engines for SDG implementation. TRIIMPACT represents a structured collaboration model that connects Government, Industry, and Academic Institutions to translate SDG intent into measurable outcomes. Through SDG-aligned research programs, faculty-led innovation, government and CSR-funded projects (DST, DBT, AICTE, UGC, CSR), sustainability pilots, and community-linked impact initiatives, the TRIIMPACT model enables institutions to move from awareness to execution. Faculty and leadership at GNITS demonstrated strong readiness to embed SDGs into curriculum, research projects, campus practices, and outreach. At RHF, we believe institutions that adopt the TRIIMPACT CoE framework early will lead in research funding, innovation output, societal relevance, and global recognition, contributing meaningfully to SDG 2030 and Viksit Bharat 2047-from classrooms to communities, and from research to real impact.
