Session Highlights

Research Heights Foundation delivered a focused research talk at VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, centered on the role of higher education institutions in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The session engaged faculty members, researchers, and students in discussions on moving beyond SDG awareness toward structured and outcome-driven implementation within academic ecosystems. Key themes included integrating SDGs into curriculum and research, aligning initiatives with accreditation frameworks such as NAAC and NIRF, and enabling measurable impact at the institutional level.

The session highlighted the need for universities to act as active drivers of sustainable development by translating academic knowledge into practical, scalable solutions. Through real-world examples and implementation frameworks shared by Research Heights Foundation, participants explored how campuses can strengthen research relevance, access funding opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to societal challenges. The interaction reflected a strong institutional readiness to adopt SDGs as a core academic and research mandate rather than a symbolic initiative.
